Preparación
- In a pot, combine the oats, almond milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and 1 cinnamon stick (or cinnamon powder to taste).
- Cook covered over low heat for 10 minutes or until the oats are soft. Add water if necessary for the oats to cook properly.
- While the oats are cooking, peel and core the apple. Slice it into thin pieces and sprinkle enough cinnamon powder to cover the apple slices.
- Heat the butter in a skillet and cook the apple slices on both sides until soft.
- Serve the cooked oats in a deep dish, topped with cooked apple slices and walnuts.
